DIGI Router Login
Need to change your WiFi password or update your network settings? Log into your DIGI router's setup page to get it done.
The default gateway address for DIGI is 192.168.1.1. Type this into your browser's address bar (not the search bar) while connected to the router's network.
Étapes de connexion
Accessing your DIGI router admin through http://192.168.1.1 will allow you to change the settings and configurations that your router software provides.
-
Connect to your DIGI router. Make sure the router is on. Plug in an ethernet cable or connect to the router's WiFi. Ethernet works best for admin access.
-
Open any web browser. Type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar (not the search bar) and press Enter.
-
If the default IP doesn't work, find the real one. On Windows, open Command Prompt and type
ipconfig. Look for "Default Gateway". On Mac, open Terminal and typenetstat -nr. -
Use the default credentials listed above. The most common combo is admin / admin. Check the label on the bottom of your router if those don't work.
-
You're in. Change your WiFi name and password, set up port forwarding, update firmware, or adjust security settings.
Dépannage DIGI Router Login
If you have forgotten your username and password, you can follow the instructions to recover them. If you haven't changed the default username and password that came with the router, you can consult our default router usernames and passwords list.
-
Can't reach the login page
Make sure you're connected to the DIGI router via WiFi or ethernet, not mobile data. Type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar. If it still won't load, unplug the router for 30 seconds and try again.
-
Default credentials not accepted
Check the sticker on the bottom of your DIGI router. The actual username and password are printed there. If those don't work either, someone changed them. You'll need to factory reset.
-
Router stops working after changes
Reset to factory defaults: hold the reset button on the back of your DIGI router for 10-30 seconds. Wait 2-3 minutes for it to reboot, then log in again.
-
Forgot the admin password
A factory reset is the only way back in. This wipes all settings, including your WiFi name and password. You'll need to set everything up again after the reset.
-
Settings won't save
Use an ethernet cable instead of WiFi when making changes. Some DIGI routers drop the connection during saves, which causes errors.
About DIGI Routers
DIGI started as a telecommunications company in Malaysia back in 1995. The company began offering internet services and later expanded into home networking equipment. DIGI routers became popular across Southeast Asia because they offered reliable internet connections at affordable prices. The brand focused on serving emerging markets where cost-effective networking solutions were needed most.
Today, DIGI manufactures a range of wireless routers and modems for home and small business use. You'll find DIGI equipment commonly used in Malaysia, Thailand, and other parts of Asia. The company designs their routers with simple setup processes and user-friendly interfaces that don't require technical expertise.
Home users choose DIGI routers because they're budget-friendly and easy to set up. Most DIGI models come pre-configured for local internet service providers, so you don't need to enter complex settings. The routers work well in smaller homes and apartments where you need basic wireless coverage without paying premium prices.
DIGI also provides local language support in their router interfaces, which helps non-English speakers configure their networks. Their customer support teams understand regional internet infrastructure, making it easier to get help when you need it.
Accessing the DIGI Admin Panel
You can access your DIGI router admin panel through any web browser on your computer or phone. Make sure you're connected to your DIGI router's WiFi network or plugged in with an ethernet cable before trying to log in. Open your browser and type the router's IP address to reach the login page.
Most DIGI routers use 192.168.1.1 as their default IP address. Type this number into your browser's address bar where you normally enter website names. If 192.168.1.1 doesn't work, check the sticker on your DIGI router for the correct address. Some newer DIGI models might use 192.168.0.1 instead.
You can also find your DIGI router's IP address by opening Command Prompt on Windows and typing "ipconfig". Look for the "Default Gateway" number, which will be your router's address.
DIGI routers sometimes don't respond if you're using the wrong browser. Try switching from Internet Explorer to Chrome or Firefox if the login page won't load. Clear your browser cache and cookies if you see old cached pages instead of the current login screen.
Some DIGI models have a built-in firewall that blocks admin access from certain devices. If you can't reach the login page, try connecting from a different device or disable any VPN software you're running. Make sure your computer's firewall isn't blocking the connection to your DIGI router.
Older DIGI routers might take 30-60 seconds to fully boot up after being plugged in. Wait for all the lights on your router to stop blinking before trying to access the admin panel. If the power light is still flashing, the router hasn't finished starting up yet.
Popular DIGI Models
The DIGI WR-1201 is a popular dual-band router that uses "admin" for both username and password by default. You'll find this model in many homes because it offers good wireless range at a reasonable price. The WR-1201's admin interface loads quickly and has simple menus for basic configuration.
DIGI's WR-804N is an entry-level router that also uses "admin/admin" for default login credentials. This model works well for small apartments and basic internet browsing. The WR-804N sometimes requires you to wait longer for the admin page to load compared to newer DIGI models.
The DIGI WR-1542 is a higher-end model with "admin" as the username and "admin" as the default password. You can change these credentials in the system settings once you log in. The WR-1542 has more advanced features like guest networks and parental controls in its web interface.
Newer DIGI routers have updated web interfaces with more colorful graphics and easier navigation menus. Older models like the WR-804N series use plain HTML interfaces that look more basic but load faster on slower computers. All DIGI models keep the same "admin/admin" default login pattern.
Some DIGI routers require you to accept a terms of service agreement before reaching the main admin dashboard. Business-focused DIGI models might have additional security warnings or require you to change the default password on first login.
Troubleshooting DIGI Login Issues
When you can't reach your DIGI router's admin page, first check that you're connected to the router's network. Look for a WiFi network name that includes "DIGI" or matches the label on your router. If you're using ethernet, make sure the cable is firmly plugged into both your computer and the router.
Restart your DIGI router by unplugging the power cord for 10 seconds, then plugging it back in. Wait for the wireless light to stop blinking before trying to access 192.168.1.1 again. Some DIGI routers need extra time to establish their network connection after a power cycle.
DIGI routers come with "admin" as both the username and password from the factory. Type "admin" in lowercase letters for both fields. Don't use capital letters or leave either field empty. If someone changed the password and you don't know what it is, you'll need to factory reset your DIGI router.
Some DIGI models will lock you out temporarily if you enter wrong passwords multiple times. Wait 5-10 minutes before trying to log in again. The router needs time to reset its security lockout before accepting new login attempts.
After factory resetting your DIGI router, wait for all lights to stabilize before trying to log in. The default credentials return to "admin/admin" after a reset. You'll need to reconfigure your WiFi network name and password through the admin interface since the reset erases all custom settings.
How to Factory Reset a DIGI Router
Reset your DIGI router when you can't remember the admin password or if the router stops working properly after changing settings. A factory reset also helps if your DIGI router won't connect to the internet or if the wireless network keeps dropping connections.
Find the small reset button on the back or bottom of your DIGI router. The button is usually recessed and requires a paperclip or pen tip to press. Make sure your DIGI router is powered on and all lights are stable before starting the reset process.
Hold down the reset button for 10-15 seconds while the router is running. You'll see the lights flash or turn off during the reset. Keep holding the button until the power light starts blinking, then release it. Don't unplug the router during this process.
Your DIGI router will restart automatically after the reset. Wait 2-3 minutes for the router to fully boot up. All lights should return to their normal solid state when the reset is complete and the router is ready for configuration.
Connect to your DIGI router using an ethernet cable or the default wireless network after reset. The WiFi network name will return to the factory default printed on your router's label. Log in with "admin/admin" and configure your internet connection settings and wireless network preferences again.
