hAP lite Default Login - Username, Password and IP

The Mikrotik hAP lite is a budget-friendly 2.4GHz wireless router that launched in 2014. It's designed for basic home networking needs and small office setups where you don't need super high speeds but want reliable connectivity.

To access your hAP lite's settings, you'll need to connect to its web interface. Open your browser and go to 192.168.88.1, which is the router's default IP address. When the login page appears, enter admin as your username and leave the password field completely empty. That's right, there's no default password set from the factory.

This router works best for basic home internet browsing, light streaming, and simple file sharing. It's not the best choice for heavy gaming or streaming 4K videos since it only supports 2.4GHz wireless. However, it's perfect if you're on a tight budget or need to cover a small apartment or home office.

The hAP lite runs Mikrotik's RouterOS, which gives you plenty of configuration options once you're logged in. Just remember to set a strong password after your first login to keep your network secure.
