Keenetic Router Login
Need to change your WiFi password or update your network settings? Log into your Keenetic router's setup page to get it done.
The default gateway address for Keenetic is 192.168.1.1. Type this into your browser's address bar (not the search bar) while connected to the router's network.
Étapes de connexion
Accessing your Keenetic router admin through http://192.168.1.1 will allow you to change the settings and configurations that your router software provides.
-
Connect to your Keenetic router. Make sure the router is on. Plug in an ethernet cable or connect to the router's WiFi. Ethernet works best for admin access.
-
Open any web browser. Type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar (not the search bar) and press Enter.
-
If the default IP doesn't work, find the real one. On Windows, open Command Prompt and type
ipconfig. Look for "Default Gateway". On Mac, open Terminal and typenetstat -nr. -
Use the default credentials listed above. The most common combo is admin / admin. Check the label on the bottom of your router if those don't work.
-
You're in. Change your WiFi name and password, set up port forwarding, update firmware, or adjust security settings.
Dépannage Keenetic Router Login
If you have forgotten your username and password, you can follow the instructions to recover them. If you haven't changed the default username and password that came with the router, you can consult our default router usernames and passwords list.
-
Can't reach the login page
Make sure you're connected to the Keenetic router via WiFi or ethernet, not mobile data. Type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar. If it still won't load, unplug the router for 30 seconds and try again.
-
Default credentials not accepted
Check the sticker on the bottom of your Keenetic router. The actual username and password are printed there. If those don't work either, someone changed them. You'll need to factory reset.
-
Router stops working after changes
Reset to factory defaults: hold the reset button on the back of your Keenetic router for 10-30 seconds. Wait 2-3 minutes for it to reboot, then log in again.
-
Forgot the admin password
A factory reset is the only way back in. This wipes all settings, including your WiFi name and password. You'll need to set everything up again after the reset.
-
Settings won't save
Use an ethernet cable instead of WiFi when making changes. Some Keenetic routers drop the connection during saves, which causes errors.
About Keenetic Routers
Keenetic started as a Russian networking company that built routers specifically for home and small office users. The brand gained popularity in Eastern Europe and Asia by focusing on user-friendly interfaces and reliable performance. Keenetic routers run on a custom operating system called KeeneticOS, which sets them apart from many other router brands that use generic firmware.
Today, Keenetic has expanded globally and offers routers in many countries including the Philippines, India, and Latin America. The company emphasizes simple setup processes and stable internet connections. You'll find Keenetic routers in electronics stores and online marketplaces, often positioned as affordable alternatives to premium networking brands.
Home users choose Keenetic because the routers are easy to set up and manage. The Keenetic web interface uses plain language instead of technical jargon, making it accessible for people without networking experience. Many users appreciate that Keenetic routers work well out of the box without needing complex configuration.
Keenetic also offers good value for money. You get reliable Wi-Fi coverage and decent speeds at prices that won't break your budget. The brand's customer support responds well to common issues, and the routers tend to last for several years with regular use.
Accessing the Keenetic Admin Panel
To access your Keenetic router's admin panel, you need to connect to the device and open the web interface in your browser. Keenetic uses 192.168.1.1 as the default IP address for most models. The login process is straightforward once you're connected to the router's network.
Most Keenetic routers use 192.168.1.1 as their default IP address. You can confirm this by checking the sticker on the bottom or back of your router. Look for text that says "Web UI" or "Management" followed by an IP address. Some newer Keenetic models might use my.keenetic.net as an alternative web address.
If you can't find the IP on your router, open Command Prompt on Windows and type "ipconfig". Look for the "Default Gateway" under your network connection. On Mac, go to System Preferences, then Network, and check your router's IP address.
Many Keenetic users face issues when their router's IP address has been changed from the default 192.168.1.1. If you can't reach the login page, try typing "my.keenetic.net" in your browser instead. Keenetic routers respond to this address even when the IP has changed.
Another common problem happens when you're connected to the wrong network. Make sure you're connected to your Keenetic router's Wi-Fi, not a neighbor's network or mobile data. Check that your device shows the correct network name in the Wi-Fi settings.
Some users can't access the admin panel because their browser has cached old pages. Clear your browser's cache and cookies, then try again. If that doesn't work, try using a different browser or opening an incognito window.
Popular Keenetic Models
The Keenetic Speedster series is popular for home users who want fast Wi-Fi speeds. These routers typically use the default login "admin" with no password. The Keenetic Start and Keenetic 4G models are budget-friendly options that also use "admin" as the username with a blank password field.
Keenetic Viva and Keenetic Giant models target users who need better range and more features. These higher-end routers still use the same default credentials. The Keenetic Extra series falls in the middle range and offers good performance for most homes. All these models follow Keenetic's standard login pattern.
Some newer Keenetic models ask you to create a password during the initial setup wizard. If you went through this process, you won't be able to use the default blank password. You'll need to enter the password you created during setup.
Most Keenetic router models use the same login process and web interface. The main difference is that newer models might have slightly updated versions of KeeneticOS with more features in the admin panel. However, the login screen looks nearly identical across all Keenetic models.
Some older Keenetic models from 2018 and earlier might have different default IP addresses or slightly different web interfaces. Check the label on your specific router model to confirm the correct IP address and default credentials.
Troubleshooting Keenetic Login Issues
When you can't reach your Keenetic router's admin page, first check that you're connected to the router's network. Look at your device's Wi-Fi settings and make sure you're on the correct network. Try pinging 192.168.1.1 from Command Prompt to see if your device can communicate with the router.
If the ping fails, your Keenetic router might be using a different IP address. Try accessing my.keenetic.net instead of the IP address. Keenetic routers respond to this web address regardless of their current IP settings. You can also try common alternative addresses like 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1.
Keenetic routers come with "admin" as the default username and a blank password field. This means you type "admin" in the username box and leave the password box empty. Don't type anything in the password field, just click login or press enter.
If the blank password doesn't work, someone might have changed the router's credentials during setup. Try common passwords like "admin", "password", or "1234". If none of these work, you'll need to reset the router to restore the default login credentials.
After factory resetting your Keenetic router, wait about two minutes for the device to fully restart. The router will return to using 192.168.1.1 as its IP address and "admin" with no password as the login credentials. Connect to the router's default Wi-Fi network, which usually appears as "Keenetic-" followed by numbers or letters.
Open your browser and go to 192.168.1.1. You should see the Keenetic setup wizard, which will guide you through configuring your internet connection and Wi-Fi settings. Follow the on-screen prompts to set up your network name and password.
How to Factory Reset a Keenetic Router
Factory reset your Keenetic router when you've forgotten the admin password, when the router isn't working properly, or when you want to start fresh with default settings. A reset will erase all your custom settings including Wi-Fi passwords, port forwarding rules, and any parental controls you've configured.
To factory reset your Keenetic router, locate the small reset button on the back or bottom of the device. The button is usually recessed and requires a paperclip or similar tool to press. Make sure your router is powered on and running normally before starting the reset process.
Press and hold the reset button for 10-15 seconds while the router is running. You'll see the LED lights on the front change or blink differently when the reset begins. Keep holding the button until the lights turn off completely, then release it. The router will restart automatically and return to factory defaults.
Don't unplug the router during the reset process. Let it complete the restart cycle, which takes about 2-3 minutes. Once the LED lights return to their normal pattern, your Keenetic router is ready for setup with the default login credentials.
After resetting your Keenetic router, you'll need to reconfigure all your settings from scratch. Connect to the default Wi-Fi network and access the web interface at 192.168.1.1 using "admin" and no password. The setup wizard will help you configure your internet connection and create a new Wi-Fi network name and password.
