Pasos para iniciar sesión
Accessing your Inteno router admin through http://192.168.1.1 will allow you to change the settings and configurations that your router software provides.
-
Connect to your Inteno router. Make sure the router is on. Plug in an ethernet cable or connect to the router's WiFi. Ethernet works best for admin access.
-
Open any web browser. Type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar (not the search bar) and press Enter.
-
If the default IP doesn't work, find the real one. On Windows, open Command Prompt and type

If you have forgotten your username and password, you can follow the instructions to recover them. If you haven't changed the default username and password that came with the router, you can consult our default router usernames and passwords list.
-
Can't reach the login page
Make sure you're connected to the Inteno router via WiFi or ethernet, not mobile data. Type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar. If it still won't load, unplug the router for 30 seconds and try again.
-
Default credentials not accepted
Check the sticker on the bottom of your Inteno router. The actual username and password are printed there. If those don't work either, someone changed them. You'll need to factory reset.
-
Router stops working after changes
Reset to factory defaults: hold the reset button on the back of your Inteno router for 10-30 seconds. Wait 2-3 minutes for it to reboot, then log in again.
-
Forgot the admin password
A factory reset is the only way back in. This wipes all settings, including your WiFi name and password. You'll need to set everything up again after the reset.
-
Settings won't save
Use an ethernet cable instead of WiFi when making changes. Some Inteno routers drop the connection during saves, which causes errors.
About Inteno Routers
Inteno Technologies develops broadband equipment primarily for European and Asian markets. The Swedish company focuses on creating networking solutions for internet service providers and home users. Inteno routers are commonly distributed by ISPs in countries like Sweden, Norway, and parts of Eastern Europe.
Inteno specializes in fiber optic and DSL gateway solutions. Their devices often come pre-configured by internet service providers, which means many users receive them without standard retail packaging. The company targets both residential and small business markets with their gateway and router products.
Home users choose Inteno routers because they often receive them directly from their internet service provider. These devices typically come pre-configured for the specific ISP network, making initial setup simple for non-technical users.
Inteno routers offer reliable performance for basic home networking needs. The web interface is straightforward, and the devices handle standard tasks like Wi-Fi management and port forwarding without complications. Many users appreciate that their ISP provides technical support for Inteno devices.
Accessing the Inteno Admin Panel
Access your Inteno router admin panel by opening a web browser and typing 192.168.1.1 in the address bar. Most Inteno routers use this default IP address for the configuration interface. You'll need to enter your username and password when prompted.
Most Inteno routers use 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway address. You can verify this by checking the label on the bottom or back of your Inteno device. The sticker usually shows the default IP along with login credentials.
If 192.168.1.1 doesn't work, open Command Prompt on Windows and type 'ipconfig'. Look for the 'Default Gateway' under your network connection. On Mac, go to System Preferences, then Network, and check your router's IP address.
Inteno routers sometimes have IP conflicts if your ISP changed the default settings. Try 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1 if the standard address doesn't work. Your ISP may have customized the IP range during initial configuration.
Some Inteno models block admin access from certain devices or browsers. Try using a different browser like Chrome or Firefox if you can't reach the login page. Clear your browser cache and disable any VPN connections that might interfere.
Inteno devices configured by ISPs often have modified login credentials. Check with your internet provider if the default admin/admin combination doesn't work. They may have set custom passwords for security reasons.
Popular Inteno Models
The Inteno XG6846 is a common GPON gateway that uses admin/admin for default login. This model handles fiber connections and includes Wi-Fi capabilities. You'll find it in many European ISP deployments.
Inteno DG301 and DG400 series are popular DSL gateways. Both typically use 192.168.1.1 with admin/admin credentials. The DG400 offers faster Wi-Fi speeds but has the same login procedure. The EG400 series focuses on Ethernet connections and maintains standard Inteno login methods.
Inteno FG400 and XG6846-FT models serve fiber installations. These devices often come with ISP-specific firmware that may change default passwords. Check your ISP documentation if standard credentials don't work on these models.
Inteno's older models like the DG series use simpler web interfaces with basic navigation. Newer models like the XG series have more advanced interfaces but keep the same login procedure. All models typically use 192.168.1.1 as the default IP.
ISP-customized Inteno routers often have modified login screens with the provider's branding. The functionality remains the same, but you might see different colors or logos on the admin interface.
Troubleshooting Inteno Login Issues
Check that your computer connects to the Inteno router's network. Look for the Wi-Fi network name printed on your Inteno device label. Connect to this network before trying to access the admin panel.
Inteno routers need a few minutes to fully boot up. Wait at least 2-3 minutes after plugging in power before attempting to access 192.168.1.1. The power LED should be solid green or blue when ready.
Many Inteno routers from ISPs have custom passwords instead of the default admin/admin. Check any paperwork from your internet provider for the correct login details. Some ISPs print custom credentials on a sticker attached to the router.
If you changed the password and forgot it, you'll need to reset the Inteno router to factory defaults. ISP-configured Inteno devices may revert to ISP-specific credentials after reset, not the standard admin/admin combination.
After factory reset, your Inteno router returns to default settings including the 192.168.1.1 IP address. Most models will accept admin/admin for login credentials unless your ISP provided custom firmware.
Inteno devices from internet service providers often download configuration automatically after reset. Wait 5-10 minutes after reset before trying to log in. The router may need to contact your ISP's servers to restore proper settings.
How to Factory Reset a Inteno Router
Reset your Inteno router when you can't remember the admin password or when network problems persist after other troubleshooting. Factory reset also helps if your ISP asks you to restore default settings during technical support.
Find the reset button on your Inteno router, usually a small recessed button on the back panel. With the router powered on, press and hold the reset button using a paperclip or similar tool. Hold for 10-15 seconds until the LED lights flash or change color.
Some Inteno models require you to hold reset for exactly 30 seconds. Release the button and wait for the router to restart completely. The power LED should return to solid green or blue when the reset process finishes.
Inteno routers take 2-3 minutes to complete the factory reset process. Don't unplug the device during this time. All settings including Wi-Fi passwords and port forwarding rules will be erased.
Log into your Inteno router using 192.168.1.1 and the default admin/admin credentials. Run through the initial setup wizard to configure your internet connection and Wi-Fi settings. ISP-provided Inteno devices may automatically download configuration from your provider.
