If you have forgotten your username and password, you can follow the instructions to recover them. If you haven't changed the default username and password that came with the router, you can consult our default router usernames and passwords list.

Can't reach the login page
Make sure you're connected to the iBall router via WiFi or ethernet, not mobile data. Type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar. If it still won't load, unplug the router for 30 seconds and try again.
-
Default credentials not accepted
Check the sticker on the bottom of your iBall router. The actual username and password are printed there. If those don't work either, someone changed them. You'll need to factory reset.
-
Router stops working after changes
Reset to factory defaults: hold the reset button on the back of your iBall router for 10-30 seconds. Wait 2-3 minutes for it to reboot, then log in again.
-
Forgot the admin password
A factory reset is the only way back in. This wipes all settings, including your WiFi name and password. You'll need to set everything up again after the reset.
-
Settings won't save
Use an ethernet cable instead of WiFi when making changes. Some iBall routers drop the connection during saves, which causes errors.
About iBall Routers
iBall started as a computer accessories company in India in 2001 and expanded into networking products around 2010. The brand focuses on affordable routers for the Indian market, offering basic wireless connectivity at budget-friendly prices. iBall routers typically feature simple interfaces and standard wireless protocols, making them popular with first-time router buyers.
iBall has built its reputation by providing reliable entry-level networking equipment across India and neighboring countries. The company targets home users who need basic internet sharing without advanced features. You'll find iBall routers in electronics stores throughout India, often priced significantly lower than international brands.
Home users choose iBall routers because they're affordable and widely available in local electronics markets. The brand offers decent performance for basic internet sharing and streaming without the premium pricing of global brands. iBall routers work well in small apartments and homes where budget matters more than advanced features.
iBall provides local customer support in India and uses familiar interface designs that don't overwhelm new users. The routers handle standard internet tasks like browsing, social media, and video streaming without complications.
Accessing the iBall Admin Panel
You can access your iBall router admin panel by opening a web browser and typing the router's IP address. Most iBall models use 192.168.1.1 as the default address, and you'll need the username and password to log in.
Check the sticker on your iBall router's back or bottom for the default IP address. Nearly all iBall routers use 192.168.1.1, but some older models might use 192.168.0.1. You can also find the IP by opening Command Prompt on Windows and typing 'ipconfig' to see your default gateway.
If you're using an Android phone, go to WiFi settings, tap your connected network, and look for the gateway address. This shows you the iBall router's IP address that you need for login.
iBall routers sometimes don't respond if you type 'www' before the IP address or use 'https' instead of 'http'. Type exactly '192.168.1.1' in your browser's address bar without any prefixes. Clear your browser cache if the login page doesn't load properly.
Some iBall models have slower processors that take 10-15 seconds to load the admin page. Don't refresh the browser immediately if the page seems stuck loading. Wait at least 20 seconds before trying again. If you still can't connect, unplug the iBall router for 30 seconds and plug it back in.
iBall routers may block admin access if too many wrong password attempts are made. Wait 5 minutes before trying to log in again if you see connection errors after multiple failed attempts.
Popular iBall Models
The iBall Baton iB-WRD12EN is a popular dual-band router that uses admin/admin as the default login credentials. Type 192.168.1.1 to access the setup page where you'll see iBall's blue and white interface design. The iBall Baton iB-WRB300N uses the same login credentials but offers only 2.4GHz wireless connectivity.
iBall's WRB-150N model also uses admin/admin for login access through 192.168.1.1. You'll recognize the iBall interface by its simple menu layout and blue color scheme. The iBall Baton 150M wireless router follows the same pattern with admin/admin credentials and the standard iBall web interface.
Most iBall wireless routers from 2018 onward use identical login procedures and interface designs. The main differences are wireless speed ratings and antenna configurations, but the admin access remains consistent across models.
Older iBall routers from before 2017 sometimes used different default passwords like 'password' or '123456' instead of 'admin'. Check the router label carefully on these older models for the exact credentials. The interface design also looks different on older iBall routers with a more basic gray and blue layout.
iBall's newer dual-band models include additional wireless settings in the admin panel, but the login process stays the same. You'll see extra menu options for 5GHz band configuration on newer iBall routers after logging in with admin/admin.
Troubleshooting iBall Login Issues
Verify your device connects to the iBall router's WiFi network before trying to access 192.168.1.1. You can't reach the admin panel if you're connected to a different network or using mobile data. Check that your WiFi shows the iBall router's network name.
Try a different web browser if 192.168.1.1 doesn't load the iBall login page. Some browsers cache old router pages that interfere with iBall's admin interface. Chrome and Firefox usually work best with iBall routers, while Internet Explorer sometimes has display problems.
iBall routers use 'admin' for both username and password by default. Type 'admin' in the username field and 'admin' in the password field, making sure both are lowercase. Don't add spaces or capital letters when entering these credentials.
If admin/admin doesn't work on your iBall router, someone may have changed the default password. Look for a printed label on the router that shows custom credentials. Some iBall models sold through specific retailers have unique default passwords printed on stickers.
After factory resetting your iBall router, wait 2-3 minutes for the device to fully restart before trying to log in. The power LED should be solid blue or green when the iBall router is ready. Connect to the default WiFi network name that appears after reset.
Log in using admin/admin credentials and reconfigure your internet connection settings. iBall routers lose all custom settings during factory reset, so you'll need to set up WiFi passwords and network names again.
How to Factory Reset a iBall Router
Reset your iBall router when you can't remember the admin password or if the device isn't working properly. Factory reset also helps if someone changed settings that broke your internet connection.
Locate the small reset button on your iBall router's back panel while the device is powered on. The reset button is usually recessed and requires a paperclip or pin to press. Hold down the reset button for 10-15 seconds while watching the LED lights on the front.
Release the reset button when the iBall router's lights start flashing rapidly. The device will restart automatically and return to factory settings within 2-3 minutes. All lights should become stable before you try to connect.
Some iBall models require you to hold the reset button for exactly 30 seconds. Check your specific model's manual if the 10-15 second reset doesn't work. The iBall router should respond with flashing lights when the reset begins.
Connect to the default iBall WiFi network and log in using admin/admin at 192.168.1.1. Reconfigure your internet settings, WiFi password, and network name through the iBall admin interface.
