Login Steps
Accessing your router admin through my.router address will allow you to change the settings and configurations that your router software provides.

Connect to Your Router
Connect your computer or phone to the router via WiFi or Ethernet. Ethernet is more reliable for accessing the admin panel.

Open Your Browser
Open any web browser. Type the IP address into the address bar (not the search bar) and press Enter. Enter my.router into the address bar.

Enter Your Login Credentials
Enter the default username and password. If they don't work, check the sticker on the bottom of your router.
Troubleshooting my.router
If you have forgotten your username and password, you can follow the instructions to recover them. If you haven't changed the default username and password that came with the router, you can consult our default router usernames and passwords list.

Connection
Make sure you're on the router's network (not mobile data). Check that all indicator lights are on.

Reboot
Unplug the router for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Wait 2 minutes before trying again.

Firewall
Temporarily disable your firewall or security software, as it can block access to local admin pages.

Check the Address
Type the IP in the address bar, not the search bar. Make sure it starts with http:// and uses numbers, not letters. The address is my.router.
my.router - Router Admin Access
The URL my.router is a local web address used by Various routers to access your router's admin panel. It's a convenient alternative to remembering IP addresses and makes logging into your router much easier.
To use my.router, open your web browser and type my.router directly in the address bar at the top. Don't type it in the search bar or Google search box. Just like you'd type a website address, enter it where you normally see website URLs.
What to Do If my.router Doesn't Work
If my.router isn't working, here are some quick fixes to try:
- Make sure you're connected to your router's Wi-Fi network or plugged in with an ethernet cable
- Try typing
http://my.routerinstead of justmy.router - Clear your browser's cache and cookies
- Try a different web browser
- Restart your router and wait a few minutes
If my.router still doesn't work, try the IP address 192.168.1.1 instead. This is the most common router IP address and often works when the my.router URL fails.
Default Login Credentials
When you reach the login page, you'll need to enter your username and password. For most Various routers using my.router, the default credentials are:
- Username: admin
- Password: admin
If these don't work, check the sticker on your router for the correct login details. Some routers have unique passwords printed on them.
Once you're logged in, you can change your Wi-Fi password, update security settings, set up guest networks, and manage all your router's features. Remember to change the default admin password to something secure after your first login.
