IndiHome Router Login

IndiHome is Indonesia's largest fibre broadband service, operated by Telkom Indonesia. Their supplied routers are primarily from ZTE and Huawei.

Login Details

IndiHome routers use 192.168.1.1. Default username is admin and password is admin or telkomdso123.

About IndiHome Routers

IndiHome launched in 2015 as Telkom Indonesia's flagship fiber internet service. The state-owned telecommunications company designed IndiHome to bring high-speed internet to Indonesian homes and businesses. Telkom Indonesia has been the country's primary telecom provider since 1884, giving IndiHome a strong foundation in the local market.

IndiHome routers come preinstalled with Telkom's custom firmware and settings. You'll find Indonesian language options built into most IndiHome router interfaces. The service covers major cities like Jakarta, Surabaya, and Bandung, with ongoing expansion to smaller towns across the archipelago.

Indonesian users choose IndiHome because it's often the only fiber option available in their area. Telkom Indonesia's extensive infrastructure makes IndiHome the default choice for many households. The routers come preconfigured for IndiHome's network, so you don't need to set up complex connection settings.

IndiHome offers competitive pricing compared to international brands in Indonesia. Local customer support speaks Bahasa Indonesia, making troubleshooting easier for non-English speakers. The routers work well with IndiHome's IPTV service and other Telkom digital products.

Accessing the IndiHome Admin Panel

You can access your IndiHome router admin panel through any web browser on your connected device. Open your browser and type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar. IndiHome routers use this IP address as the default gateway for local network management.

Most IndiHome routers use 192.168.1.1 as the default IP address. Check the sticker on the back or bottom of your router to confirm the exact address. Some newer IndiHome models might use 192.168.0.1 instead.

If you can't find the IP on the router label, open Command Prompt on Windows and type 'ipconfig'. Look for the Default Gateway address under your network connection. This shows your IndiHome router's IP address.

IndiHome routers sometimes show a blank login page or timeout error. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again. Disable any VPN connections before accessing the admin panel, as these can interfere with local network access.

Some IndiHome models redirect you to a Telkom portal instead of the router settings. Try typing 'admin' in the username field even if you see the Telkom login page. You might need to look for a small 'Router Settings' or 'Modem Configuration' link at the bottom of the page.

Browser compatibility issues occur with older IndiHome firmware. Internet Explorer or Edge work better than Chrome or Firefox for some IndiHome models. Try a different browser if the login page won't load properly.

Popular IndiHome Models

The IndiHome HG8245H is one of the most common fiber routers, using 'admin' for both username and password. The ZTE F609 model, branded for IndiHome, typically uses 'admin' and 'admin' as default credentials. Some F609 units use 'user' and 'user' instead, so try both combinations.

Newer IndiHome routers like the HG8245A often come with 'admin' as username and 'telkomdso123' as password. The Huawei HG8240H, distributed by IndiHome, uses the same 'admin' and 'telkomdso123' combination. Check your router's label for model-specific credentials if these don't work.

IndiHome WiFi 6 routers and mesh systems use randomized passwords printed on the device label. Look for 'Router Password' or 'Admin Password' on the sticker. These newer models don't use the standard default passwords for security reasons.

Older IndiHome routers from 2015-2018 typically use simple 'admin/admin' credentials. Models from 2019 onwards often use the stronger 'admin/telkomdso123' combination. IndiHome upgraded their security standards after receiving customer feedback about unauthorized access.

ZTE-manufactured IndiHome routers have a different interface layout compared to Huawei models. ZTE units show more technical details on the main page, while Huawei IndiHome routers focus on basic settings first. The login process remains the same regardless of manufacturer.

Troubleshooting IndiHome Login Issues

Make sure your device connects to the IndiHome router's WiFi network or plug directly into an ethernet port. You can't access the admin panel from a different network or mobile data connection. Restart your IndiHome router by unplugging it for 30 seconds if the IP address won't respond.

Firewall software sometimes blocks access to 192.168.1.1 on IndiHome networks. Temporarily disable Windows Firewall or antivirus protection to test the connection. Add 192.168.1.1 to your firewall's exception list if this fixes the problem.

IndiHome routers often come with changed passwords from the technician installation. Contact IndiHome customer service at 147 if you can't log in with the default credentials. They can provide the current password or guide you through a reset process.

Some IndiHome models require you to press Enter after typing the password, rather than clicking the login button. Try both methods if your credentials seem correct but login fails. Caps Lock might be enabled, affecting password entry on IndiHome login screens.

After factory resetting your IndiHome router, use the original default credentials printed on the device label. The router returns to 192.168.1.1 as the IP address and 'admin/admin' or 'admin/telkomdso123' as login details. You'll need to reconfigure your WiFi network name and password after successful login.

How to Factory Reset a IndiHome Router

Reset your IndiHome router when you can't remember the admin password or if the device stops responding to configuration changes. Factory reset also fixes persistent connection issues that basic troubleshooting can't solve.

Locate the small reset button on your IndiHome router, usually on the back panel near the power connection. Keep your router powered on during the reset process. Press and hold the reset button using a paperclip or similar tool for 10-15 seconds until the LED lights blink rapidly.

Release the reset button and wait for your IndiHome router to restart completely. The power LED should turn solid green or blue when the reset finishes. Don't unplug the router during this process, as it might corrupt the firmware.

Some newer IndiHome models require a 30-second button hold for factory reset. Check your router's manual or the label for specific reset timing. The WiFi and internet LEDs will turn off during reset, then gradually turn back on as the router initializes.

Your IndiHome router returns to default settings after factory reset. Connect to the default WiFi network name shown on the router label, then log into 192.168.1.1 with the original credentials. Set up your preferred WiFi name, password, and any custom settings through the admin panel.
