Connect to your FiberHome router. Make sure the router is on. Plug in an ethernet cable or connect to the router's WiFi. Ethernet works best for admin access.
-
Open any web browser. Type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar (not the search bar) and press Enter.
-
If the default IP doesn't work, find the real one. On Windows, open Command Prompt and type

If you have forgotten your username and password, you can follow the instructions to recover them. If you haven't changed the default username and password that came with the router, you can consult our default router usernames and passwords list.
-
Can't reach the login page
Make sure you're connected to the FiberHome router via WiFi or ethernet, not mobile data. Type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar. If it still won't load, unplug the router for 30 seconds and try again.
-
Default credentials not accepted
Check the sticker on the bottom of your FiberHome router. The actual username and password are printed there. If those don't work either, someone changed them. You'll need to factory reset.
-
Router stops working after changes
Reset to factory defaults: hold the reset button on the back of your FiberHome router for 10-30 seconds. Wait 2-3 minutes for it to reboot, then log in again.
-
Forgot the admin password
A factory reset is the only way back in. This wipes all settings, including your WiFi name and password. You'll need to set everything up again after the reset.
-
Settings won't save
Use an ethernet cable instead of WiFi when making changes. Some FiberHome routers drop the connection during saves, which causes errors.
About FiberHome Routers
FiberHome Technologies started in China in 1999 and quickly became a major player in fiber optic equipment. The company expanded into home networking gear around 2010, focusing on affordable routers for emerging markets. FiberHome routers are widely distributed through internet service providers across Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
Today FiberHome ranks among the top router manufacturers globally. The brand specializes in GPON and fiber gateway equipment that ISPs provide to customers. You'll find FiberHome routers in millions of homes from the Philippines to Brazil, often branded with local ISP logos.
Home users choose FiberHome routers because they're reliable and budget-friendly. Many people get them directly from their internet provider as part of service packages. FiberHome devices offer solid Wi-Fi coverage for typical homes without breaking the bank.
The brand's simple interface makes router management easy for non-technical users. FiberHome routers also handle multiple device connections well, which matters in households with many smartphones and tablets.
Accessing the FiberHome Admin Panel
You can access your FiberHome router admin panel through any web browser on your connected device. Open Chrome, Firefox, or Safari and type the router's IP address in the address bar. FiberHome routers typically use 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway address.
Most FiberHome routers use 192.168.1.1 as the default IP address. You can verify this by checking the label on the back or bottom of your router. Look for text that says "Default Gateway" or "Management IP."
If 192.168.1.1 doesn't work, try 192.168.0.1 instead. Some FiberHome models use this alternate address. You can also find the correct IP by opening Command Prompt on Windows and typing "ipconfig." Look for the "Default Gateway" entry.
FiberHome routers sometimes show connection timeout errors when you first try to log in. Wait 30 seconds and refresh the page. The router might be processing startup routines. Don't repeatedly click refresh as this can overwhelm the device.
Some FiberHome models display Chinese text instead of English on the login page. Look for two text boxes and a login button. The username goes in the top box, password in the bottom box. You can usually change the language to English after logging in.
Certain FiberHome routers require you to enable JavaScript in your browser. If you see a blank page or missing buttons, check your browser's JavaScript settings. The admin interface won't load properly without JavaScript enabled.
Popular FiberHome Models
The FiberHome HG6243C is extremely common in ISP deployments across Southeast Asia. It uses admin/admin as default credentials and runs on 192.168.1.1. The interface loads in Chinese by default but switches to English in the language menu. The HG6145D model also uses admin/admin and features a simpler web interface with fewer advanced options.
FiberHome's AN5506 series routers are popular in Latin American markets. These devices typically use admin/admin for login credentials. The AN5506-04-A model includes four Ethernet ports and dual-band Wi-Fi. The interface displays in Spanish or English depending on your ISP's configuration.
Older FiberHome models like the HG110 series use different default passwords. Some use "admin" for both username and password, while others use "admin" and "password." Check the label on your specific device for the correct credentials.
Newer FiberHome GPON routers often have randomized passwords printed on the device label. Your ISP might have changed the default login during initial setup. Contact your internet provider if you can't find working credentials on the router label.
Troubleshooting FiberHome Login Issues
When you can't reach the FiberHome admin page, first check that your device connects to the router's Wi-Fi network or Ethernet port. Open a command prompt and ping 192.168.1.1 to test connectivity. If pings fail, restart your computer's network adapter.
FiberHome routers sometimes block admin access when too many devices connect simultaneously. Disconnect other phones, tablets, and computers temporarily. Try accessing the admin panel from just one device. Some FiberHome models limit concurrent admin sessions to prevent conflicts.
FiberHome routers ship with admin/admin as default credentials, but your ISP might have changed these during installation. Check for a sticker on the router with "Username" and "Password" or "Admin Login" information. The credentials might be printed in small text near the model number.
If you previously changed the password and forgot it, you'll need to reset the FiberHome router to factory defaults. Some FiberHome models have a "Forgot Password" link on the login page, but this feature doesn't work on most ISP-configured devices.
After factory resetting your FiberHome router, wait 2-3 minutes for the device to fully restart. All lights should be solid before attempting to log in. Use admin/admin as the username and password unless your router label shows different credentials. The interface will likely display in Chinese initially, so look for language settings to switch to English.
How to Factory Reset a FiberHome Router
Reset your FiberHome router when you can't remember the admin password or when the device stops responding to configuration changes. Don't reset if your internet works fine and you just want to change Wi-Fi passwords. Contact your ISP first since they might need to reconfigure the device after reset.
Locate the small Reset button on the back or bottom of your FiberHome router. The button is usually recessed and requires a paperclip or similar tool. Keep the router powered on during the reset process. Press and hold the Reset button for 10-15 seconds while the device is running.
Release the Reset button and wait for the router lights to cycle. Most FiberHome routers will flash all lights briefly, then restart normally. The entire reset process takes 2-3 minutes. Don't unplug the router during this time as it might corrupt the firmware.
Some FiberHome models require a longer reset procedure. Hold the Reset button for 30 seconds if the standard reset doesn't work. The power light should turn red or orange during reset, then return to normal color when complete.
Log in using admin/admin and reconfigure your internet settings immediately after reset. Your ISP connection details will be erased, so have your account information ready. Set up Wi-Fi passwords and network names before connecting other devices to prevent security issues.
