خطوات تسجيل الدخول
Accessing your JioFiber router admin through http://192.168.1.1 will allow you to change the settings and configurations that your router software provides.
-
Connect to your JioFiber router. Make sure the router is on. Plug in an ethernet cable or connect to the router's WiFi. Ethernet works best for admin access.
-
Open any web browser. Type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar (not the search bar) and press Enter.
-
If the default IP doesn't work, find the real one. On Windows, open Command Prompt and type
ipconfig. Look for "Default Gateway". On Mac, open Terminal and typenetstat -nr. -
Use the default credentials listed above. The most common combo is admin / admin. Check the label on the bottom of your router if those don't work.
-
You're in. Change your WiFi name and password, set up port forwarding, update firmware, or adjust security settings.

If you have forgotten your username and password, you can follow the instructions to recover them. If you haven't changed the default username and password that came with the router, you can consult our default router usernames and passwords list.
-
Can't reach the login page
Make sure you're connected to the JioFiber router via WiFi or ethernet, not mobile data. Type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar. If it still won't load, unplug the router for 30 seconds and try again.
-
Default credentials not accepted
Check the sticker on the bottom of your JioFiber router. The actual username and password are printed there. If those don't work either, someone changed them. You'll need to factory reset.
-
Router stops working after changes
Reset to factory defaults: hold the reset button on the back of your JioFiber router for 10-30 seconds. Wait 2-3 minutes for it to reboot, then log in again.
-
Forgot the admin password
A factory reset is the only way back in. This wipes all settings, including your WiFi name and password. You'll need to set everything up again after the reset.
-
Settings won't save
Use an ethernet cable instead of WiFi when making changes. Some JioFiber routers drop the connection during saves, which causes errors.
About JioFiber Routers
JioFiber launched in 2019 as Reliance Jio's fiber-to-the-home internet service in India. The service quickly expanded across major Indian cities, offering high-speed broadband with bundled router devices. JioFiber routers come pre-configured with Jio's network settings and custom firmware.
Jio designed these routers specifically for their fiber network infrastructure. The company provides different router models depending on your plan and location. Most JioFiber customers receive their router as part of the installation package.
JioFiber routers are popular because they come free with most fiber plans and work seamlessly with Jio's network. The routers include built-in Wi-Fi 6 support on newer models and don't require complex setup. Jio's customer support team can remotely access these routers for troubleshooting.
Many Indian households choose JioFiber because the service includes the router, installation, and technical support. You don't need to buy separate equipment or worry about compatibility issues.
Accessing the JioFiber Admin Panel
You can access your JioFiber router's admin panel through any web browser on a device connected to your network. JioFiber uses a custom interface that's different from standard router brands. The login page shows Jio branding and may include quick setup options for first-time users.
Most JioFiber routers use 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway address. You can verify this by checking the sticker on your router's back panel. The label shows the default IP address along with login credentials.
If 192.168.1.1 doesn't work, try 192.168.0.1 or check your network settings. On Windows, open Command Prompt and type 'ipconfig' to see your default gateway. On Android phones, go to Wi-Fi settings and tap your connected network to see the gateway address.
JioFiber routers sometimes show a 'page not found' error even when using the correct IP address. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again. Some JioFiber models redirect you to a Jio-branded portal instead of the standard admin interface.
If you see a Jio login page asking for your JioFiber account details, you're in the customer portal, not the router admin panel. Look for a 'Router Settings' or 'Advanced Settings' link on that page. Some newer JioFiber routers require you to log into your Jio account first before accessing router settings.
Certain JioFiber models block admin access when using mobile data or external networks. Make sure you're connected to your JioFiber Wi-Fi network before trying to log in. Ethernet connections usually work better than Wi-Fi for accessing the admin panel.
Popular JioFiber Models
The JioFiber JMR815 is common in older installations and uses admin/admin as default credentials. The JMR1040 model comes with newer fiber plans and features Wi-Fi 6 support. Both models use 192.168.1.1 as the default IP address. The JMR1040 has a more modern web interface with Jio's updated branding.
JioFiber also provides the JMR1041 in some areas, which includes mesh networking capabilities. These models may have slightly different login procedures. The JMR541 is an older model that some customers still use. All JioFiber routers come with the same default username and password: admin and admin.
Newer JioFiber installations might include dual-band or tri-band models with model numbers starting with 'JMR'. Check the model sticker on your device to identify your specific router version.
Older JioFiber models like the JMR815 show a basic web interface with limited customization options. Newer models include the JioFiber app integration and cloud management features. The login process remains the same across all models, but the interface layout varies.
Some JioFiber models require you to accept terms and conditions before accessing advanced settings. Newer routers may prompt you to change the default password on first login, while older models allow you to keep the default credentials.
Troubleshooting JioFiber Login Issues
When you can't reach the JioFiber admin page, check if your device shows an active internet connection. JioFiber routers sometimes enter a 'bridge mode' that disables the web interface. Look for a steady blue or green light on your router. Flashing lights usually indicate connection problems.
Restart your router by unplugging it for 10 seconds, then plug it back in. Wait 2-3 minutes for the router to fully boot up before trying to access 192.168.1.1. If you still can't connect, try using a different device or browser. Some JioFiber models work better with Chrome or Edge browsers.
JioFiber routers use 'admin' for both username and password by default. Type these credentials exactly in lowercase letters. If this doesn't work, check the router sticker for any custom passwords. Some JioFiber installations include technician-set passwords that differ from the default.
Jio technicians sometimes change the default password during installation and write it on the router label. Look for a handwritten password or a sticker with custom credentials. If you've changed the password and forgot it, you'll need to perform a factory reset to restore the default admin/admin login.
After factory resetting your JioFiber router, it returns to the admin/admin default credentials. The router will also reset to its original network name and Wi-Fi password, which are printed on the device label. You'll need to reconfigure your Wi-Fi settings and any custom configurations.
JioFiber routers automatically reconnect to Jio's network after reset, so your internet service should restore within a few minutes. You may need to contact Jio customer service if the router doesn't reconnect to their network automatically.
How to Factory Reset a JioFiber Router
Reset your JioFiber router when you can't remember the admin password or when the device stops responding to configuration changes. Factory reset also helps when your internet speed is consistently slow or when Wi-Fi connections keep dropping.
Locate the small reset button on your JioFiber router, usually on the back panel near the power port. With the router powered on, press and hold the reset button using a paperclip or similar thin object. Hold the button for 10-15 seconds until you see the lights flash or turn off briefly.
Release the reset button and wait for the router to restart completely. The process takes 2-3 minutes. You'll see the power light turn solid blue or green when the reset is complete. The router will broadcast its default Wi-Fi network name during this time.
Some JioFiber models have a recessed reset button that requires a paperclip to reach. Don't use excessive force when pressing the button. If the reset doesn't work, try holding the button for up to 30 seconds while the router is powered on.
After resetting your JioFiber router, reconnect your devices using the default Wi-Fi name and password printed on the router label. Access the admin panel at 192.168.1.1 using admin/admin credentials to reconfigure your settings. Set up a new Wi-Fi password and network name for better security.
