خطوات تسجيل الدخول

Accessing your Entel router admin through http://192.168.1.1 will allow you to change the settings and configurations that your router software provides.

  1. Connect to your Entel router. Make sure the router is on. Plug in an ethernet cable or connect to the router's WiFi. Ethernet works best for admin access.

  2. Open any web browser. Type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar (not the search bar) and press Enter.

  3. If the default IP doesn't work, find the real one. On Windows, open Command Prompt and type ipconfig. Look for "Default Gateway". On Mac, open Terminal and type netstat -nr.

  4. Use the default credentials listed above. The most common combo is admin / admin. Check the label on the bottom of your router if those don't work.

  5. You're in. Change your WiFi name and password, set up port forwarding, update firmware, or adjust security settings.

If you have forgotten your username and password, you can follow the instructions to recover them. If you haven't changed the default username and password that came with the router, you can consult our default router usernames and passwords list.

  • Can't reach the login page

Make sure you're connected to the Entel router via WiFi or ethernet, not mobile data. Type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar. If it still won't load, unplug the router for 30 seconds and try again.

  • Default credentials not accepted

Check the sticker on the bottom of your Entel router. The actual username and password are printed there. If those don't work either, someone changed them. You'll need to factory reset.

  • Router stops working after changes

Reset to factory defaults: hold the reset button on the back of your Entel router for 10-30 seconds. Wait 2-3 minutes for it to reboot, then log in again.

  • Forgot the admin password

A factory reset is the only way back in. This wipes all settings, including your WiFi name and password. You'll need to set everything up again after the reset.

  • Settings won't save

Use an ethernet cable instead of WiFi when making changes. Some Entel routers drop the connection during saves, which causes errors.

About Entel Routers

Entel started as Chile's national telecommunications company and has grown into a major telecom provider across Latin America. The company began offering internet services and router hardware in the early 2000s to compete with international brands. Entel routers are designed specifically for Latin American internet infrastructure and regional connectivity needs.

Entel focuses on affordable networking equipment that works well with local internet service providers. The company has partnerships with Chilean and Peruvian ISPs, making their routers a common choice for home internet packages. Entel routers often come pre-configured when you sign up for internet service through partnered providers.

Home users choose Entel routers because they're often included free with internet service packages from regional ISPs. The routers come pre-configured, so you don't need technical knowledge to get online. Entel designs their firmware interface in Spanish, making it easier for Spanish-speaking users to navigate settings.

Entel routers also cost less than imported brands while offering reliable performance for typical home use. The company provides local customer support in Spanish, which helps when you need technical assistance.

Accessing the Entel Admin Panel

You can access your Entel router admin panel through any web browser on a device connected to your network. Entel uses a standard web interface that opens when you type the router's IP address into your browser's address bar.

Most Entel routers use 192.168.1.1 as the default IP address. You can find your router's exact IP address by checking the sticker on the back or bottom of your Entel device. Look for a label that shows 'IP Address' or 'Gateway' followed by numbers like 192.168.1.1.

If the sticker is worn out, you can find the IP through your computer. On Windows, open Command Prompt and type 'ipconfig'. Look for 'Default Gateway' under your network connection. On Mac, go to System Preferences, click Network, and check your connection details.

Entel routers sometimes show a Spanish login page even if your browser is set to English. Don't worry if you see 'Iniciar Sesión' instead of 'Login'. The username and password fields work the same way. Type 'admin' in both the usuario and contraseña fields.

Some older Entel models redirect you to a setup wizard on first login. You'll see a page asking to configure internet settings. Click 'Administración' or look for a link that says 'Advanced Settings' to reach the main admin panel. If you can't find these options, try typing /admin after your router's IP address in the browser.

Entel routers may timeout your login session quickly for security. If you get logged out while making changes, just log back in with admin/admin. The router saves most settings automatically, so you won't lose your work.

Popular Entel Models

The Entel HG622 is a common ADSL model with default login admin/admin. You'll find this router in many Chilean homes with DSL internet. The HG622 has a simple interface with basic wireless settings and port forwarding options.

Entel's HG630 series covers fiber and cable connections. These models also use admin/admin as default credentials. The HG630 has more advanced features like guest networks and parental controls. Some HG630 units come with custom firmware from local ISPs, but the login credentials stay the same.

The newer Entel Smart WiFi routers use the same admin/admin default but have a more modern interface. These models include the E5186 and E8372 series. They support faster speeds and have mobile apps for remote management, though you can still use the web interface.

Older Entel models like the HG series show a basic HTML interface with simple menus. Newer Smart WiFi models have responsive designs that work better on phones and tablets. The login process stays the same across all models, but menu layouts change between product lines.

Some Entel routers provided by ISPs have customized interfaces with the ISP's branding. You might see VTR or Movistar logos instead of Entel's, but these are still Entel hardware underneath. The admin credentials remain admin/admin regardless of custom branding.

Troubleshooting Entel Login Issues

If 192.168.1.1 doesn't work, check that you're connected to your Entel router's network. Make sure you're using WiFi or ethernet cable to connect to the Entel router, not your phone's mobile data. Try typing http://192.168.1.1 in your browser instead of just the IP address.

Some Entel models use different IP addresses depending on ISP configuration. Try 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1 if the standard address fails. You can also try typing 'entelrouter' or 'router.entel' in your browser address bar, as some models respond to these hostnames.

If admin/admin doesn't work, your Entel router password may have been changed by your ISP or a previous user. Check the router sticker again for any printed passwords. Some Entel routers have the WiFi password printed on the label, but this is different from the admin password.

Try common variations like 'admin' for username and blank password, or 'admin' for both but with capital letters. Some Entel models from certain ISPs use 'admin' and '1234' or 'admin' and the router's serial number. If none of these work, you'll need to factory reset your Entel router.

After factory resetting your Entel router, wait 2-3 minutes for it to fully boot up. The admin credentials return to admin/admin, and the IP address goes back to 192.168.1.1. You'll need to reconfigure your internet connection settings and WiFi password.

Entel routers often have quick setup wizards that run after reset. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your ISP settings. If you're unsure about internet connection details, contact your ISP for the correct configuration values.

How to Factory Reset a Entel Router

Factory reset your Entel router when you can't log in with any known passwords, or when the router stops working properly despite power cycling. Reset also helps if someone changed settings and you can't remember what was modified.

Find the small reset button on your Entel router. It's usually a recessed button on the back or bottom of the device. With the router powered on, press and hold the reset button using a paperclip or pen tip. Hold the button for 10-15 seconds until you see the lights on your Entel router flash or turn off briefly.

Release the reset button and wait for your Entel router to restart completely. The process takes 2-3 minutes. You'll know it's ready when the power light stays solid and the internet light stops blinking. Some Entel models play a sound or flash specific lights when reset is complete.

If the button reset doesn't work, try the 30-30-30 method on older Entel models. Hold reset for 30 seconds while powered on, keep holding for 30 seconds while unplugging power, then hold for 30 more seconds while plugging power back in.

Your Entel router returns to factory settings after reset. Connect to the default WiFi network name printed on your router label, then open a browser and go to 192.168.1.1. Log in with admin/admin and run through the setup wizard to configure your internet connection and WiFi settings.
