Accessing your Luxul router admin through http://192.168.0.1 will allow you to change the settings and configurations that your router software provides.
-
Connect to your Luxul router. Make sure the router is on. Plug in an ethernet cable or connect to the router's WiFi. Ethernet works best for admin access.

Open any web browser. Type 192.168.0.1 into the address bar (not the search bar) and press Enter.
-
If the default IP doesn't work, find the real one. On Windows, open Command Prompt and type

If you have forgotten your username and password, you can follow the instructions to recover them. If you haven't changed the default username and password that came with the router, you can consult our default router usernames and passwords list.

Can't reach the login page
Make sure you're connected to the Luxul router via WiFi or ethernet, not mobile data. Type http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar. If it still won't load, unplug the router for 30 seconds and try again.
-
Default credentials not accepted
Check the sticker on the bottom of your Luxul router. The actual username and password are printed there. If those don't work either, someone changed them. You'll need to factory reset.
-
Router stops working after changes
Reset to factory defaults: hold the reset button on the back of your Luxul router for 10-30 seconds. Wait 2-3 minutes for it to reboot, then log in again.
-
Forgot the admin password
A factory reset is the only way back in. This wipes all settings, including your WiFi name and password. You'll need to set everything up again after the reset.
-
Settings won't save
Use an ethernet cable instead of WiFi when making changes. Some Luxul routers drop the connection during saves, which causes errors.
About Luxul Routers
Luxul started as a premium networking brand focused on bringing enterprise-grade features to home and small business users. The company built its reputation by creating routers that combine professional-level performance with easier setup than traditional enterprise equipment. Luxul targets users who need more than basic home routers but don't want the complexity of full enterprise systems.
Luxul positions itself in the premium residential and light commercial market. You'll find Luxul routers in high-end homes, small offices, and custom installation projects. The brand emphasizes reliable wireless coverage and advanced features like VLAN support and guest network isolation.
Home users choose Luxul because their routers deliver consistent performance across large homes and properties. Luxul's dual-band and tri-band models handle multiple devices without the slowdowns you get with cheaper routers. The brand's focus on custom installers means Luxul routers come with better documentation and support than many consumer brands.
Luxul routers also appeal to tech-savvy users who want professional features without enterprise complexity. You get advanced QoS controls, multiple SSID support, and detailed monitoring tools that aren't available on basic home routers.
Accessing the Luxul Admin Panel
Access your Luxul router admin panel by opening a web browser and typing 192.168.0.1 in the address bar. Luxul uses this IP address as the default gateway for almost all their router models. You'll see the Luxul login page with fields for username and password.
Most Luxul routers use 192.168.0.1 as the default IP address. Check the label on your Luxul router's back or bottom panel to confirm the exact address. Luxul prints the default login information directly on the device label.
If 192.168.0.1 doesn't work, open Command Prompt on Windows and type 'ipconfig'. Look for 'Default Gateway' under your network connection. On Mac, go to System Preferences, then Network, and check your router's IP address there.
Luxul routers sometimes conflict with other devices using 192.168.0.1 on your network. If you can't reach the login page, disconnect other routers or modems temporarily. Some internet service providers use 192.168.0.1 for their equipment, which blocks access to your Luxul admin panel.
Luxul's web interface loads slowly on older browsers or devices with limited memory. Use a current version of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari for best results. Clear your browser cache if the Luxul login page appears broken or won't load properly.
Some Luxul models have a brief startup delay after powering on. Wait 2-3 minutes after plugging in your Luxul router before trying to access 192.168.0.1. The admin interface won't respond until the router completes its boot sequence.
Popular Luxul Models
The Luxul XWR-3100 is a popular dual-band model that uses admin/admin for default login credentials. You'll find this router in many residential installations because it balances performance with affordability. The XWR-3100 admin panel has a clean interface with separate tabs for wireless, security, and network settings.
Luxul's XWR-3150 tri-band router also uses admin/admin as default credentials but offers a more advanced admin interface. This model includes dedicated 5GHz bands and more detailed QoS controls. The Epic series routers like the Epic 3 use the same admin/admin default but have simplified setup wizards.
Luxul's ABR series business routers use admin/admin credentials but have different admin panel layouts. These models focus on wired connections and VLAN management rather than wireless optimization. The ABR-4400 and ABR-5000 have more network monitoring tools than residential Luxul models.
Luxul residential routers have user-friendly admin interfaces with setup wizards and automatic optimization features. Business-focused Luxul models show more technical details and manual configuration options in their admin panels.
Older Luxul routers may use slightly different admin panel designs but keep the same admin/admin default login. Newer Luxul models force you to change the default password during initial setup, while older units let you keep the admin/admin combination.
Troubleshooting Luxul Login Issues
Check that your device connects to the Luxul router's network before trying to access 192.168.0.1. Look for the Luxul wireless network name in your WiFi list or connect an Ethernet cable directly to one of the Luxul router's LAN ports. Your device needs a network connection to reach the admin panel.
Disable VPN software or proxy settings that might block access to 192.168.0.1. Some security software treats local router addresses as suspicious and blocks the connection. Try accessing your Luxul admin panel from a different device or browser to isolate the problem.
Luxul routers ship with admin/admin as the default username and password combination. Type 'admin' in both fields exactly, using lowercase letters. Don't add spaces before or after the text. Some users mistakenly try 'administrator' or 'password' instead of the correct admin/admin combination.
If someone changed the Luxul router password and you don't know it, you'll need to perform a factory reset. Luxul doesn't have a password recovery option that works without admin panel access. Write down your new password after resetting to avoid this problem in the future.
After factory resetting your Luxul router, wait 2-3 minutes for the device to complete its startup process. The power LED should stop blinking and show solid green before you try to access 192.168.0.1. Use admin/admin to log in and run through Luxul's initial setup wizard.
Luxul routers return to their default network name and wireless settings after factory reset. Look for a network name that starts with 'Luxul' followed by letters and numbers. Connect to this network before accessing the admin panel to reconfigure your settings.
How to Factory Reset a Luxul Router
Reset your Luxul router when you can't remember the admin password or when the device behaves erratically despite troubleshooting. Factory reset also helps if someone configured complex settings that you can't modify through the normal admin panel options.
Locate the small Reset button on your Luxul router's back panel. The button sits in a recessed hole near the power connector. Keep your Luxul router powered on during the reset process.
Press and hold the Reset button using a paperclip or similar tool. Hold the button down for 10-15 seconds while watching the router's LED lights. The lights will blink in a specific pattern when the reset activates. Release the Reset button and wait for your Luxul router to restart completely.
Some Luxul models require a 30-second reset hold time instead of 10-15 seconds. Check your specific model's documentation if the standard reset procedure doesn't work. The router will restart automatically and return to factory default settings.
Connect to your Luxul router using an Ethernet cable for the initial setup after factory reset. Use 192.168.0.1 and admin/admin to access the admin panel. Run through Luxul's setup wizard to configure your internet connection, wireless networks, and security settings again.
