Ruijie Router Login
Need to change your WiFi password or update your network settings? Log into your Ruijie router's setup page to get it done.
The default gateway address for Ruijie is 192.168.1.1. Type this into your browser's address bar (not the search bar) while connected to the router's network.
Étapes de connexion
Accessing your Ruijie router admin through http://192.168.1.1 will allow you to change the settings and configurations that your router software provides.
-
Connect to your Ruijie router. Make sure the router is on. Plug in an ethernet cable or connect to the router's WiFi. Ethernet works best for admin access.
-
Open any web browser. Type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar (not the search bar) and press Enter.
-
If the default IP doesn't work, find the real one. On Windows, open Command Prompt and type
ipconfig. Look for "Default Gateway". On Mac, open Terminal and typenetstat -nr. -
Use the default credentials listed above. The most common combo is admin / admin. Check the label on the bottom of your router if those don't work.
-
You're in. Change your WiFi name and password, set up port forwarding, update firmware, or adjust security settings.
Dépannage Ruijie Router Login
If you have forgotten your username and password, you can follow the instructions to recover them. If you haven't changed the default username and password that came with the router, you can consult our default router usernames and passwords list.
-
Can't reach the login page
Make sure you're connected to the Ruijie router via WiFi or ethernet, not mobile data. Type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar. If it still won't load, unplug the router for 30 seconds and try again.
-
Default credentials not accepted
Check the sticker on the bottom of your Ruijie router. The actual username and password are printed there. If those don't work either, someone changed them. You'll need to factory reset.
-
Router stops working after changes
Reset to factory defaults: hold the reset button on the back of your Ruijie router for 10-30 seconds. Wait 2-3 minutes for it to reboot, then log in again.
-
Forgot the admin password
A factory reset is the only way back in. This wipes all settings, including your WiFi name and password. You'll need to set everything up again after the reset.
-
Settings won't save
Use an ethernet cable instead of WiFi when making changes. Some Ruijie routers drop the connection during saves, which causes errors.
About Ruijie Routers
Ruijie Networks started as a Chinese networking company in 2000, focusing on enterprise and campus network solutions. The company expanded into the consumer router market in the 2010s, bringing their enterprise-grade technology to home users. Ruijie routers are popular in Asia-Pacific markets, particularly in China, Southeast Asia, and increasingly in Latin American countries where they offer competitive pricing for feature-rich devices.
Ruijie has built a reputation for producing routers with strong WiFi coverage and advanced QoS features. Their consumer products often include technologies borrowed from their enterprise division, giving home users access to professional-grade network management tools at consumer prices.
Home users choose Ruijie routers because they offer excellent value for money with features typically found in more expensive brands. Ruijie routers often include advanced antenna designs, mesh networking capabilities, and detailed bandwidth control options that appeal to tech-savvy users and large households.
The brand's focus on WiFi performance makes Ruijie routers particularly attractive in multi-story homes or areas with heavy interference. Many users also appreciate Ruijie's mobile app, which simplifies network management compared to traditional web interfaces.
Accessing the Ruijie Admin Panel
Accessing your Ruijie router's admin panel is straightforward once you know the correct IP address and login credentials. Most Ruijie routers use 192.168.1.1 as their default gateway address, and you'll typically find the login details printed on a sticker attached to your router.
Check the bottom or back of your Ruijie router for a white or yellow sticker that shows the default IP address. Most Ruijie models use 192.168.1.1, but some newer mesh systems might use 192.168.68.1 instead. You can also find your router's IP by opening Command Prompt on Windows and typing 'ipconfig'. Look for the 'Default Gateway' address under your active network connection.
If you're using a Ruijie mesh system, the main router unit will have the login information while satellite units won't have admin access. Make sure you're connected to the main router's network when trying to log in.
Ruijie routers sometimes experience browser compatibility issues with older versions of Internet Explorer or outdated mobile browsers. If the login page won't load properly, try using Chrome, Firefox, or Safari instead. Clear your browser cache and cookies if you see formatting problems on the Ruijie admin interface.
Some Ruijie models have a guest network feature that's enabled by default. If you're connected to the guest network, you won't be able to access the admin panel. Switch to the main WiFi network before attempting to log in. You can identify the guest network because it usually has 'Guest' in the network name.
Ruijie's newer routers include a security feature that locks the admin panel after multiple failed login attempts. If you see a message about being temporarily locked out, wait 10 minutes before trying again. Don't keep attempting to log in during this time, as it will extend the lockout period.
Popular Ruijie Models
The Ruijie RG-EW1200G Pro is a popular dual-band router that uses the standard admin/admin credentials and 192.168.1.1 IP address. You'll find the login details on a sticker near the ethernet ports. The RG-EW3200GX Pro, a tri-band gaming router, also uses these same defaults but includes an additional QR code for mobile app setup.
Ruijie's mesh systems like the RG-EW1800GX have slightly different login procedures. The main unit uses admin/admin, but you'll need to use the Ruijie Cloud app for initial setup. Once configured, you can access the web interface at 192.168.68.1. The RG-EW1200 series routers are entry-level models that stick to the standard 192.168.1.1 address with admin/admin credentials.
Older Ruijie models from 2018 and earlier sometimes use 'admin' as the username with a blank password field. Check your router's sticker carefully, as some units have unique default passwords printed there instead of using the standard admin/admin combination.
Ruijie's enterprise-grade consumer routers often have more complex login interfaces compared to their basic models. High-end Ruijie routers may redirect you to a setup wizard on first access, while entry-level models go straight to the admin login page. Gaming-focused Ruijie models typically include a 'Gaming Mode' quick setup that appears before the standard admin interface.
Mesh routers in the Ruijie lineup require initial setup through the mobile app, but you can still access the web interface afterward. Non-mesh models allow direct web interface access without requiring app installation first.
Troubleshooting Ruijie Login Issues
If you can't reach the Ruijie login page, first check that your device is properly connected to the router's WiFi network or ethernet port. Open your network settings and confirm you're connected to your Ruijie router, not a neighbor's network or mobile data. Try typing http://192.168.1.1 in your browser's address bar, including the 'http://' part.
Ruijie routers sometimes conflict with VPN software or firewall programs running on your computer. Temporarily disable any VPN connections and Windows Firewall, then try accessing the admin panel again. Some Ruijie models also block admin access from devices connected to the 5GHz band, so switch to the 2.4GHz network if you're having trouble.
Ruijie routers typically use 'admin' for both username and password, but check the sticker on your router to confirm. Some newer Ruijie models generate unique default passwords that are printed on the device label. If someone changed the password and you don't know it, you'll need to perform a factory reset to regain access.
The Ruijie login page is case-sensitive, so make sure you're typing 'admin' in lowercase letters. Don't add any extra spaces before or after the username and password. If you recently updated your Ruijie router's firmware, the login process might have changed slightly, so try leaving the password field blank if admin/admin doesn't work.
After factory resetting your Ruijie router, wait about 2 minutes for the device to fully reboot before trying to log in. The power LED should stop blinking and remain solid. Connect to the default WiFi network, which will have a name like 'Ruijie_XXXX' where XXXX represents the last four digits of the MAC address.
Some Ruijie routers automatically launch a setup wizard after reset, which may appear before the standard login page. Follow the wizard prompts to set up your internet connection and WiFi passwords, then you can access the full admin interface with the default admin/admin credentials.
How to Factory Reset a Ruijie Router
Factory reset your Ruijie router when you've forgotten the admin password, the device isn't connecting to the internet properly, or you're experiencing persistent WiFi problems that other troubleshooting steps haven't fixed. Resetting also helps if you're setting up a used Ruijie router or want to clear all custom settings.
Locate the small Reset button on your Ruijie router, which is usually a recessed button near the power port or ethernet connections. With the router powered on, press and hold the Reset button using a paperclip or similar tool for 10-15 seconds. The power LED will start blinking rapidly during the reset process.
Keep holding the Reset button until you see the power LED turn off completely, then release the button. Don't unplug the power during this process. The router will automatically restart and the LED will cycle through different colors as it boots up. The entire reset and reboot process takes about 2-3 minutes on most Ruijie models.
Some newer Ruijie routers have a Reset button that requires you to press it while powering on the device. If the standard method doesn't work, try unplugging the router, holding the Reset button, plugging the power back in while still holding Reset, then releasing after 10 seconds.
Once your Ruijie router finishes rebooting after a factory reset, connect to the default WiFi network using the credentials printed on the router label. Open your browser and navigate to 192.168.1.1 to access the admin panel with the default admin/admin login. You'll need to reconfigure your internet connection settings, WiFi names and passwords, and any other custom settings you had before the reset.
