Mobily Router Login

Need to change your WiFi password or update your network settings? Log into your Mobily router's setup page to get it done.

The default gateway address for Mobily is 192.168.1.1. Type this into your browser's address bar (not the search bar) while connected to the router's network.

Étapes de connexion

Accessing your Mobily router admin through http://192.168.1.1 will allow you to change the settings and configurations that your router software provides.

  1. Connect to your Mobily router. Make sure the router is on. Plug in an ethernet cable or connect to the router's WiFi. Ethernet works best for admin access.

  2. Open any web browser. Type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar (not the search bar) and press Enter.

  3. If the default IP doesn't work, find the real one. On Windows, open Command Prompt and type ipconfig. Look for "Default Gateway". On Mac, open Terminal and type netstat -nr.

  4. Use the default credentials listed above. The most common combo is admin / admin. Check the label on the bottom of your router if those don't work.

  5. You're in. Change your WiFi name and password, set up port forwarding, update firmware, or adjust security settings.

Dépannage Mobily Router Login

If you have forgotten your username and password, you can follow the instructions to recover them. If you haven't changed the default username and password that came with the router, you can consult our default router usernames and passwords list.

  • Can't reach the login page

Make sure you're connected to the Mobily router via WiFi or ethernet, not mobile data. Type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar. If it still won't load, unplug the router for 30 seconds and try again.

  • Default credentials not accepted

Check the sticker on the bottom of your Mobily router. The actual username and password are printed there. If those don't work either, someone changed them. You'll need to factory reset.

  • Router stops working after changes

Reset to factory defaults: hold the reset button on the back of your Mobily router for 10-30 seconds. Wait 2-3 minutes for it to reboot, then log in again.

  • Forgot the admin password

A factory reset is the only way back in. This wipes all settings, including your WiFi name and password. You'll need to set everything up again after the reset.

  • Settings won't save

Use an ethernet cable instead of WiFi when making changes. Some Mobily routers drop the connection during saves, which causes errors.

About Mobily Routers

Mobily is Saudi Arabia's leading telecommunications company that launched in 2005 as the kingdom's second mobile operator. The company expanded into home internet services and began offering branded routers to their fiber and DSL customers. Mobily routers are specifically configured for the Saudi market and come pre-programmed with Mobily's network settings.

Mobily partners with major router manufacturers like Huawei, ZTE, and TP-Link to create custom firmware versions. These routers feature Arabic language support and are optimized for Mobily's network infrastructure across Saudi Arabia.

Home users choose Mobily routers because they come free or heavily discounted with Mobily internet packages. The routers arrive pre-configured, so you don't need to enter complex network settings manually. Mobily's technical support can remotely access these routers to fix connection issues, which saves you troubleshooting time.

Mobily routers also include built-in parental controls and content filtering that complies with Saudi regulations. The firmware receives automatic updates through Mobily's network, keeping your router secure without manual intervention.

Accessing the Mobily Admin Panel

Access your Mobily router admin panel by opening a web browser and typing 192.168.1.1 in the address bar. Mobily routers use this standard IP address regardless of the manufacturer. You'll see the Mobily-branded login page with Arabic and English options.

All Mobily routers use 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway address. You can confirm this by checking the sticker on your Mobily router, which shows the IP address along with your WiFi credentials. If 192.168.1.1 doesn't work, try typing mobily.router or modem.mobily in your browser address bar.

Some older Mobily routers might use 192.168.0.1 instead. Check your computer's network settings if you're unsure. Open Command Prompt and type 'ipconfig' to see your default gateway address.

Mobily routers sometimes show a blank page instead of the login screen. Clear your browser cache and try again, or use a different browser like Chrome or Firefox. Some Mobily firmware versions block access from certain browsers, especially older ones.

If you see an Arabic-only login page, look for a language switcher button usually located at the top right corner. Mobily routers default to Arabic in Saudi Arabia, but all models include English language support. The login button might say 'دخول' in Arabic or 'Login' in English.

Connection timeouts often occur when your computer gets an automatic IP address that doesn't match the Mobily router's network. Set your computer's IP address manually to 192.168.1.100 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0 and gateway 192.168.1.1.

Popular Mobily Models

The Mobily Huawei HG8245H is their most common fiber router, using admin/admin as default credentials. You'll see the Mobily logo on the login page along with Huawei branding. The ZTE ZXHN H298A is another popular model with the same admin/admin login, but displays a different interface design with Mobily's purple color scheme.

Mobily's TP-Link models like the TD-W8961N use admin/admin for DSL connections. These older models have a simpler interface but still show Mobily branding. The newer Mobily 5G routers from Huawei also use admin/admin but feature a mobile-optimized admin panel.

Some Mobily business routers use 'administrator' as both username and password instead of admin/admin. Check the router label if admin/admin doesn't work on your Mobily device.

Fiber Mobily routers show additional ONT (Optical Network Terminal) settings that DSL models don't have. The fiber models also display signal strength and optical power levels on the status page. DSL Mobily routers focus more on line synchronization and ADSL connection statistics.

Newer Mobily routers include a mobile app connection feature. You can download the Mobily router app and scan a QR code on the login page to manage settings from your phone. Older Mobily models don't support this mobile app integration.

Troubleshooting Mobily Login Issues

When you can't reach 192.168.1.1, check that your device connects to the Mobily router's WiFi network first. Open your WiFi settings and connect to the network name printed on your Mobily router label. Don't try accessing the admin panel while connected to mobile data or a different WiFi network.

If you're using an ethernet cable, make sure it's plugged into one of the yellow LAN ports on your Mobily router, not the red WAN port. The WAN port connects to Mobily's network and won't give you admin panel access. Try a different ethernet cable if the connection still fails.

All Mobily routers ship with admin/admin as the default username and password. If these credentials don't work, someone might have changed them previously. Look for a password hint on the Mobily login page, or try common alternatives like administrator/administrator or admin/password.

Some Mobily technicians change the default password during installation and write it on a sticker attached to the router. Check all sides of your Mobily router for any handwritten passwords or additional stickers. You can also call Mobily customer service at 1100 to request the current admin password for your account.

After factory resetting your Mobily router, wait 2-3 minutes before trying to log in. The router needs time to load Mobily's custom firmware and restore default settings. Once ready, use admin/admin to access the admin panel and reconfigure your WiFi network name and password. Your internet connection should work automatically since Mobily routers store network settings in protected memory that survives factory resets.

How to Factory Reset a Mobily Router

Factory reset your Mobily router when you've forgotten the admin password, can't connect to WiFi, or experience frequent disconnections. Reset also helps when Mobily technical support asks you to restore default settings during troubleshooting calls.

Locate the small reset button on the back or bottom of your Mobily router. The button is usually recessed and labeled 'Reset' in English and Arabic. Keep your Mobily router powered on during the reset process.

Press and hold the reset button using a paperclip or pen tip for 10-15 seconds. Don't release the button until you see all LED lights on the Mobily router turn off and then start flashing. The power LED will blink rapidly during the reset process.

Wait 2-3 minutes for your Mobily router to complete the factory reset. The WiFi LED should turn solid green when the process finishes. Your router will broadcast the default WiFi network name printed on the device label.

After resetting, connect to the default WiFi network using the password from your Mobily router label. Open a browser and go to 192.168.1.1 to log in with admin/admin. Change your WiFi network name and password in the wireless settings section. Your internet connection will work automatically since Mobily routers retain their network configuration even after factory reset.
