COMFAST Router Login
Need to change your WiFi password or update your network settings? Log into your COMFAST router's setup page to get it done.
The default gateway address for COMFAST is 192.168.1.1. Type this into your browser's address bar (not the search bar) while connected to the router's network.
Étapes de connexion
Accessing your COMFAST router admin through http://192.168.1.1 will allow you to change the settings and configurations that your router software provides.
-
Connect to your COMFAST router. Make sure the router is on. Plug in an ethernet cable or connect to the router's WiFi. Ethernet works best for admin access.
-
Open any web browser. Type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar (not the search bar) and press Enter.
-
If the default IP doesn't work, find the real one. On Windows, open Command Prompt and type
ipconfig. Look for "Default Gateway". On Mac, open Terminal and typenetstat -nr. -
Use the default credentials listed above. The most common combo is admin / admin. Check the label on the bottom of your router if those don't work.
-
You're in. Change your WiFi name and password, set up port forwarding, update firmware, or adjust security settings.
Dépannage COMFAST Router Login
If you have forgotten your username and password, you can follow the instructions to recover them. If you haven't changed the default username and password that came with the router, you can consult our default router usernames and passwords list.
-
Can't reach the login page
Make sure you're connected to the COMFAST router via WiFi or ethernet, not mobile data. Type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar. If it still won't load, unplug the router for 30 seconds and try again.
-
Default credentials not accepted
Check the sticker on the bottom of your COMFAST router. The actual username and password are printed there. If those don't work either, someone changed them. You'll need to factory reset.
-
Router stops working after changes
Reset to factory defaults: hold the reset button on the back of your COMFAST router for 10-30 seconds. Wait 2-3 minutes for it to reboot, then log in again.
-
Forgot the admin password
A factory reset is the only way back in. This wipes all settings, including your WiFi name and password. You'll need to set everything up again after the reset.
-
Settings won't save
Use an ethernet cable instead of WiFi when making changes. Some COMFAST routers drop the connection during saves, which causes errors.
About COMFAST Routers
COMFAST started as a Chinese networking company focused on affordable wireless solutions for home and small business users. The brand gained popularity in developing markets by offering dual-band routers and range extenders at competitive prices. COMFAST routers typically feature external antennas and basic web interfaces that prioritize functionality over flashy designs.
COMFAST has built its reputation on providing reliable Wi-Fi coverage for budget-conscious consumers. The company produces various networking products including USB adapters, access points, and mesh systems. COMFAST routers are commonly found in markets across Asia, Latin America, and parts of Europe where cost-effective networking solutions are in high demand.
Home users choose COMFAST routers because they offer solid wireless performance without premium pricing. The brand's routers typically include features like guest networks, parental controls, and basic QoS settings that meet most household needs. COMFAST devices are known for straightforward setup processes and stable connections once configured properly.
COMFAST routers appeal to users who want reliable internet access without complex features they won't use. The brand's focus on external antennas helps improve signal strength in larger homes or areas with interference. Many COMFAST models support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, giving users flexibility for different devices and usage scenarios.
Accessing the COMFAST Admin Panel
COMFAST routers use a standard web-based admin panel that you access through your browser. Most COMFAST models respond to 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway address. You'll need to connect your computer or phone to the COMFAST router's network before attempting to log in to the admin interface.
Check your COMFAST router's label on the bottom or back panel for the exact login address. Most COMFAST routers use 192.168.1.1, but some newer models might use 192.168.0.1 instead. You can also find the IP address by opening Command Prompt on Windows and typing "ipconfig" to see your default gateway.
If the standard addresses don't work, try typing "comfast.com" or "cf.link" in your browser address bar. Some COMFAST models respond to these domain shortcuts instead of IP addresses. Make sure you're connected to the COMFAST Wi-Fi network and not your mobile data when testing these addresses.
COMFAST routers sometimes take longer than expected to load the login page, especially on first access after powering on. Wait at least 30 seconds after the router's lights stabilize before trying to access the admin panel. The COMFAST interface may appear in Chinese by default, but you can usually find a language selector in the top-right corner of the login screen.
Some COMFAST models have a captive portal that redirects you automatically when you first connect to the network. If you don't see a login prompt, try navigating to any website and you should get redirected to the COMFAST setup page. Clear your browser cache if the COMFAST admin page appears broken or won't load properly.
COMFAST routers occasionally conflict with VPN software or proxy settings on your device. Disable any VPN connections and check that your browser isn't using a proxy server. Some antivirus programs also block access to router admin panels, so temporarily disable firewall protection if you can't reach the COMFAST login page.
Popular COMFAST Models
The COMFAST CF-WR750AC is a popular dual-band router that uses admin/admin as both username and password. This model features a blue and black design with three external antennas and supports speeds up to 750Mbps combined. The CF-WR750AC's admin panel has a clean interface with basic wireless settings and guest network options.
COMFAST's CF-E355AC model is a high-gain router designed for larger coverage areas. It also uses the standard admin/admin login credentials and offers 1200Mbps total throughput. The CF-E355AC includes four external antennas and advanced features like bandwidth control and access scheduling through its web interface.
The CF-WR650AC represents COMFAST's budget-friendly option with dual-band support and standard admin/admin authentication. This model works well for small to medium homes and includes basic parental controls. Some COMFAST range extender models like the CF-WR302S use the same admin/admin credentials but access them through a simplified setup wizard interface.
Newer COMFAST models typically feature more modern web interfaces with better mobile browser support. Older COMFAST routers might have simpler admin panels with fewer configuration options but the same basic login process. Some COMFAST business models use different default passwords, so check your specific model's documentation if admin/admin doesn't work.
COMFAST mesh systems and access points often have slightly different login procedures that involve scanning QR codes or using mobile apps. However, most standalone COMFAST routers stick to the traditional web-based admin panel approach with the standard IP address and admin/admin credentials.
Troubleshooting COMFAST Login Issues
Check that all cables are properly connected to your COMFAST router and that the power LED is solid green or blue. COMFAST routers need about 60 seconds to fully boot up before the admin interface becomes available. Make sure your computer is connected to the COMFAST network either by Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi.
Try using a different browser or device to access the COMFAST admin panel. Some users report better success with Chrome or Firefox compared to Internet Explorer when accessing COMFAST router interfaces. Reset your network settings on your device and reconnect to the COMFAST network if the connection keeps timing out.
COMFAST routers ship with admin/admin as the default username and password combination. Type both fields exactly in lowercase letters without any spaces. Some COMFAST models display the current password on a sticker attached to the router itself, so check all labels on your device.
If someone previously changed the COMFAST admin password and you don't know it, you'll need to perform a factory reset to restore the default admin/admin credentials. The COMFAST password field is case-sensitive, so make sure caps lock isn't enabled when typing the login information.
After factory resetting your COMFAST router, wait for all indicator lights to stabilize before attempting to log in. The default admin/admin credentials will be restored, and you can access the setup wizard through 192.168.1.1. COMFAST routers typically start a quick setup process automatically after reset.
Your COMFAST router will broadcast an unsecured network name after reset, usually starting with "COMFAST" followed by model numbers. Connect to this network first, then navigate to the admin panel to begin reconfiguring your wireless settings and security options.
How to Factory Reset a COMFAST Router
Factory reset your COMFAST router when you can't remember the admin password, experience persistent connection problems, or want to start fresh with default settings. Reset also helps if someone else configured the router and you need to reclaim admin access.
Locate the small reset button on your COMFAST router, usually found on the back panel near the power port. Use a paperclip or similar tool to press and hold the reset button while the router is powered on. Keep holding the button for 10-15 seconds until you see all the LED lights flash simultaneously.
Some COMFAST models require you to hold the reset button for up to 30 seconds for a complete factory reset. Release the button and wait for the router to reboot completely. The power LED should return to solid green or blue, and the wireless LED should start blinking as the COMFAST router restarts.
Don't unplug the power during the reset process, as this can damage your COMFAST router's firmware. The reset procedure will erase all custom settings including Wi-Fi passwords, port forwards, and any parental controls you configured previously.
Once your COMFAST router completes the reset process, connect to the default network name and navigate to 192.168.1.1 to begin setup. Use admin/admin to log in and follow the COMFAST setup wizard to configure your internet connection and wireless security settings.
